Onsite Consultation & Project Arborist Support
Practical arborist advice on-site, plus project arborist supervision for developments
About onsite consultation and project arborist works
Choose this service if you need practical arborist advice on-site rather than a formal council report.
Onsite consultations are suited to tree questions, site planning, early advice, pruning and removal options, and understanding what report or permit pathway may be needed for your project.
We also provide Project Arborist services for developments where an arborist is required during construction or works near protected trees. A Project Arborist may be engaged to supervise excavation or works within Tree Protection Zones, oversee the installation of tree protection fencing, monitor compliance with an approved Tree Protection Management Plan, provide certification and site reports throughout the construction process, or attend site at the request of council as a condition of permit approval.
Project Arborist work is charged at $150 per hour plus GST, with a minimum of 2 hours including travel.
This is not the right service if council has already requested a formal written report. In that case, choose the relevant report service below.
